• I pledge to have the uncomfortable conversations in order to understand racial issues historically and at present in the UK.

• I pledge to learn through literature, TV programmes and online resources to help me understand the difficulties that BAME people face in the UK.

• I pledge to make my home a place which embraces diversity, whether that is in the books that we read, the toys that we own or the discussions that we have.

• I pledge to continue to have conversations with my friends, family and community to ensure we create a culture of racial equity in and outside our homes.

• I pledge to take action by engaging with Black, Asian Minority Ethnic families, communities and organisations.
